Vallorbe Round File, 150mm/6″, Cut 2 – Medium Grade

Designed, developed and manufactured in Switzerland, these high-quality Vallorbe files undergo rigorous checks to ensure they stand the test of time.

Made from high carbon steel and suitable for use on all metals, they deliver a superior performance time and again.

This Vallorbe Round File measures 152mm in length with a 5.9mm diameter, it features a round profile with abrasive teeth all around that extend to the tapered end.

This file is ideal for creating smooth, rounded edges and finishing and deburring concave surfaces.

Jewellers may wish to use a separate set of needle files for gold work to avoid cross-contamination of metal.

Although it is not necessary to use a handle with these files, specific file handles are available.

This file has a medium cut 2 finish.

The coarser the file, the more metal is removed. Files are graded as below;

• Cut 00 – Very coarse
• Cut 0 – Coarse
• Cut 1 – Coarse/Medium
• Cut 2 – Medium
• Cut 3 – Medium/Fine
• Cut 4 – Fine
