Description

This Foredom Rotary Tumbler is efficient, compact and features programmable controls which makes repeatable processes easy to select. The programmable controls even include a ‘Memory’ button to save your favourite setting.

Another key feature is how two directions of tumbling can be selected, constant or alternating.

Changing direction gives the best finish and most even results. The tumbler has direct driving wheels, meaning that there are never any belts to replace, with smooth operation over continuous hours.

To use, the ideal tumbling media to work piece ratio is 5:1, but for better performance increase the media to work piece ratio. Fill to the halfway mark with your chosen barrelling compound and water.

For the controls, just simply set the timer up to 180 minutes, choose the direction of rotation, and select from 20 levels of speed control ranging from 5 to 100RPM. The work cycle duration is 180 minutes long.

Your work in progress is visible through the clear, leak-proof, hexagonal barrel which also features a visible halfway mark, and locking cam arm.

Steel or stainless steel shot tumbling media is required to operate the tumbler and is not included. A non-foaming detergent solution isalso strongly recommended.
