This Vallorbe Square Needle File measures 160mm in length and 2.4mm x 2.4mm in diameter at widest point, perfect for filing intricate work.

Jewellers may wish to use a separate set of needle files for gold work to avoid cross-contamination of metal.

Although it is not necessary to use a handle with needle files, specific needle file handles are available .

This file has a coarse cut 0 finish.

The coarser the file, the more metal is removed. Files are graded as below;

• Cut 00 – Very coarse
• Cut 0 – Coarse
• Cut 1 – Coarse/Medium
• Cut 2 – Medium
• Cut 3 – Medium/Fine
• Cut 4 – Fine
