The Urethane Forming Hammer is a fantastic tool for forming soft metals with ease including; silver, copper and brass.

Urethane is a soft, absorbent material that will conform to what ever you are hitting resulting in consistently better results and increased productivity, compared to other hammers. It works with ‘hydraulic force’ meaning that when the metal and stake are hit, the head spreads across the area with an even strike, then bounces back to its original shape.

This double head hammer features a flat head (25mm wide) and a cross pein head (25mm x 2mm), suitable for a wide variety of forming projects. Ideal for forming patterned, engraved and overlaid metals because it will not mark your work or erode the pattern. Because Urethane is such an absorbent material, it will also help alleviate stress on the body when striking.
