Description

This flux is similar to Easy-Flo but is specially formulated for applications requiring prolonged heating. When used, it creates a glassy residue that is insoluble in water, providing a strong protective layer during the heating process.

Because of this tough residue, removal must be done using caustic soda or mechanical methods rather than simple washing. Before use, the flux needs to be mixed with water to form a paste, making it easy to apply precisely where needed. This makes it ideal for demanding soldering or brazing tasks where longer heat exposure is necessary.
