Standard Steel Scriber

Description

Scribers are used in combination with a steel ruler or an engineer’s square for measurments – the fine point means that it is accurate.

The point of the scriber may need to be reground from time to time in order to keep it sharp. Metal can also be drawn on with a scribe, ideal for drawing out designs for fine piercing work or engraving.

Their are generally three types of scribers, one with a flat top, double ended versions with one point end and one hook end, and the double ended combination scriber and burnisher.
