Renaissance Micro-crystalline Preserving Wax Polish 200ml

Description

Renaissance wax was first developed by The British Museum as an acid-free preserving wax which would not damage antique artefacts, unlike many other waxes.

It is especially useful in a jewellery workshop for sealing patinas created by Liver of Sulphur on metal.

It can also be used to prevent the oxidisation of metal, to keep tools from rusting, and as an invisible protective finishing wax on a range of materials from wood and ceramic to polymer clay, resin and leather.

Renaissance wax can also be used to protect precious metal clay and base metal clay from oxidiation once once fired.

Supplied in a 200ml jar.
