The Presidium Duo Tester PDT II is the only Gemmological instrument in the industry that can examine gemstones using both thermal and reflectivity testing.

This advanced duo tester instantly differentiates diamonds the industries thinnest retractable probe tip (0.6mm) which allows for consistent pressure when set against the stone, ensuring reliable results every time.

• A clear and easy to read analogue dial that provides clear results from the 15 listed coloured gemstones
• The digital LED index display identifies the stones reflectivity value.

This portable tester can test stones as small as 0.02ct and will alert you if you’ve hit metal to ensure accurate results. Coated stones can also be generally tested.

Powered by 5 x AAA alkaline batteries. Supplied with a UK 3Pin converter as an alternative power supply.

Please note – it will not differentiate between natural and synthetic coloured stones.
