The Fretz Maker Precisionsmith range is made up of high quality, beautifully crafted products manufactured especially for Students, Hobbyists and Beginners.

This Fretz Maker Precisionsmith Narrow Raising Hammer features a cross pein head with two rectangular faces; one 4mm slightly thinner face while the other is 5mm wide, both highly polished to a mirror finish, perfect for adding texture and fitting into tighter curves that the rounded planishing hammer would not.

This hammer can be used for raising on small projects, it is ideal for intricate work such as filigree or small vessel forms.

Raising hammers are designed to be used with stakes; the hammer is applied to the outside of the metal forcing it into the stake which shapes the metal but leaves the surface smooth.

Delivering precision, whilst being built for toughness and durability, this hammer is scaled down once more from the Fretz Maker Narrow Raising Hammer (999 7412) it is a much lighter design, perfect for use with lighter metal gauges.

The head is made from 420 grade stainless steel and features highly polished faces secured to a handle beautifully crafted from North American ash, oil finished and shaped to give you a light touch.

These Fretz Makers Hammers have a 64mm head length as opposed to standard Maker Hammers which measure 75mm.
