Titanium Soldering Probe

Description

This Titanium Solder Probe, also known as a pick, is a perfect device for aiding the flow of molten solder onto precious metals.

Titanium is ideal because it is a low thermal conductor meaning it won’t draw the heat away from the solder or metal. It also prevents any metal adhering to the tip and doesn’t oxidise.

Featuring an 11.6mm thick, light wooden handle and a protective nib cover, preventing damage to the nib or you. The length of the tip is approximately 44mm, with a total length of 150mm.

It is advised that you use different picks for each alloy, avoiding contamination – see product 999 AAFC.

Please note – this item is not suitable for platinum soldering.
