Technique Borax Cone

Description

Borax bars are made from compact, dried flux and are used with water to create a paste, suitable for soldering precious and non-precious metals.

Pour a small amount of water into a Borax Dish () and grind the bar with a small amount of pressure to form your paste (the paste should be a dense consistency for it to be effective on your solder join). Simply brush the paste onto your join using a Flux Brush () along with your required solder and you’re ready to go!
