This Super Nylon Doming Punch and Block set offers a fantastic addition to any workshop and is perfect to use in conjunction with other forming tools.

Made from strong and durable nylon, this set of 8 doming punches features; 6mm, 9mm, 12mm, 15mm, 18mm, 20mm, 24mm and 28mm diameter punches and 1 nylon doming block (90mm x 50mm x 27mm) with corresponding indents ensuring reliable domes every time. The advantage of using a nylon set rather than a steel set is that it provides mark free forming, reducing the need of finishing.

This set is suitable to use with soft metals such as; gold, silver, copper, brass and aluminium. For added convenience it is provided with a solid wooden stand (measuring 172mm x 130mm x 25mm), with each dedicated punch hole clearly marked so you know exactly where that punch came from.

Set includes;

• 8 x Nylon punches – 6mm, 9mm, 12mm, 15mm, 18mm, 20mm, 24mm and 28mm
• 1 x Nylon doming block with 8 indents
• 1 x Wooden stand

To use; place your annealed blank over the largest indent to start, then using the matching punch strike with good force with a nylon mallet (, ) Repeat a few times moving the punch around the blank in a circular motion as you go. You’ll need to anneal after a few strikes and work down the diameters until you reach your desired size. We would advise when striking to place the block onto a rubber mat () to defuse the vibration.
