Steel Round Forming Mandrel Set Of 4

Description

Used for forming or re-shaping metal, triblets are particularly useful when working with rings.

They can be used to form a ring or a circular bezel to a chosen approximate size, to re-size an existing ring, or to correct the shape of a misshapen ring.

This unmarked, solid triblet is made from steel, and should be kept clean and polished to avoid any marks which may be transferred onto the surface of your metal. It can be hand held or secured by the handle into a bench vice. Securing at any other point will mark or damage the surface of the triblet and transfer onto the surface of your metal.

This set of four ring triblets come complete in a plastic pouch. They are made in Germany and are hardened and tempered to Rockwell 55.

This set of four round ring mandrels have a combination of working lengths and diameters; 1.5mm-5mm diameter, working length = 11cm (total length = 16cm). 4.5mm-8mm diameter, working length = 11.2cm (total length = 18cm). 7.5mm-12mm diameter, working length = 12.5cm (total length = 19cm). 11.5mm-16mm diameter, working length = 13.5cm (total length = 20cm).
