Steel Round Drawplate, 0.5mm – 4.0mm, 40 Hole

Description

This Drawplate is to be used in conjunction with a drawbench however can be secured in a vice, and is used for reducing or reshaping wire.

Made from steel, this plate features 40 round holes and has the ability to reduce wire from 4.0mm to 0.5mm diameter. Also suitable to be used for reshaping wire and creating tube or chenier from sheet metal.

It is important to ensure a sufficient point is created at the end of the wire or sheet so it can be pulled through the hole using drawtongs. After approximately every other draw, the metal should be annealed to regain malleability.

The holes included in this drawplate measure;

• 0.50mm, 0.55mm, 0.60mm, 0.65mm, 0.70mm, 0.75mm, 0.80mm, 0.85mm, 0.90mm, 0.95mm
• 1.0mm, 1.1mm, 1.2mm, 1.3mm, 1.4mm, 1.5mm, 1.6mm, 1.7mm, 1.8mm, 1.9mm
• 2.0mm, 2.1mm, 2.2mm, 2.3mm, 2.4mm, 2.5mm, 2.6mm, 2.7mm, 2.8mm, 2.9mm
• 3.0mm, 3.1mm, 3.2mm, 3.3mm, 3.4mm, 3.5mm, 3.6mm, 3.7mm, 3.85mm, 4.0mm
