Square 17 Degree, Plate And Punch, 4-14mm With Square Corners

Description

Also referred to as ‘Collet Forming Tools’, the plate has 11 square conical holes ranging from 4.0mm-15.0mm (Corners are sharp not rounded!) all of which are cut into the plate at 17 degree angles.

The punch is made from steel, square/conical in shape at the end and cut to a 17 degree angle.

Used for forming, stretching, reducing or changing the shape of a collet.

To use:

• Place the collet into the appropriate hole
• Insert the punch and tap carefully with a hammer
• Collets should be annealed and gradually stretched or reduced.
