Providing you with a hard wearing, protective and non-toxic covering for your workbench, the soldering block is a long lasting surface on which to solder.

This square soldering board is made from fiber, silicate, alumina and industrial binders.

An essential for silversmiths, the soldering block for jewellery making helps you to solder small components of your jewellery pieces safely and effectively. The block can be used as is or broken into shapes to help support the item being soldered.

When broken down into smaller pieces the soldering block can also be used to protect sections of the piece you do not want to heat.

These blocks are not suitable for use in a kiln or oven.

Suitable for temperatures of up to 1400°C. Substitute for asbestos.
