SET of 12 (Sizes 5 – 16) with handle, supplied in a useful plastic storage container. Made from steel, the grain tool is about 60mm in length, at the end of which is a polished concave hemisphere. Used with the ball shaped handle (supplied) it’s employ- ed when grain setting – grains from the metal’s surface are lifted (with a Scorper (999 CDL & AYA – AZJ) and then rounded with the grain tool over the stone – size of the tool should relate to that of the grain! Also available individually in 20 sizes. Smallest – Size 1 = 0.25mm Largest – Size 20 = mm. Sharpened with a ‘FION’ see 999 AIS.
