Salamander A5/0 Super Graphite Crucible

Description

Made from high quality bonded clay graphite, the Salamander A5/0 crucible has been designed for melting smaller quantities of precious metal, ferrous and non-ferrous alloys. Known for consistent performance, the Salamander crucible has excellent characteristics including clean melting, good thermal conductivity, high refractoriness and a good resistance to chemical corrosion. Smaller quantities can be melted with a torch (up to A1/0), but the larger quantities (A1-A4) need to be melted using a furnace. Working capacity: 9ct, 85gms. Silver, 80gms. The crucible measures 35mm in height, and 32mm in top diameter tapered to 24mm in bottom diameter.
