Project X .999 Fine Silver Clay is designed to deliver professional results with ease. Its extended working time makes it ideal for both beginners and experienced makers, allowing for smooth shaping and refining. With lower firing temperatures and a 22% shrinkage rate, it reduces the risk of cracking or distortion.

Once fired, it transforms into 99.9% pure silver with a high-polish finish. For best results, keep unused clay airtight. The clay is made of approximately 90% silver powder, water, and binder, ensuring a beautiful, durable final piece.

With step-by-step instructions and video guides included, you?ll feel confident crafting your own silver charms using just a torch or gas stove. It has a 960°C melting point.

Please note

While your clay may appear dry at first glance, it’s simply a part of its design! The unique ‘dryness’ of the clay upon opening the package is a result of the vacuum packing process, which compacts the clay.

Unlike other clays, this means that the clay requires conditioning before use, a simple step that ensures your material is primed and ready for use.

Project X metal clay transforms into a smooth, workable material without added water. Simply roll or knead it to activate the elasticity of the binder. Kneading fresh clay is essential to achieve the right texture without adding water, which can lead to unwanted stickiness.
