Firing options

• 871°C for 1 hour on a ceramic or fibre shelf is recommended to achieve the highest hardness and maximum durability
• For best results, use a kiln with proper ventilation, ceramic tiles or soldering pads

Please note – Allow the piece to cool down before removing it from the kiln for safety.

Project X .960 Sterling Silver Clay has a 22% shrinkage reducing the risk of cracking or distortion of the final piece.

• Shape and manipulate Project X .960 Silver Clay while it’s in its most pliable state; roll it out, create sheets and press it against textures for dynamic effects
• Experiment with various techniques like curling, twisting and joining pieces together; use a damp brush to ensure secure bonds between joints.
• During firing, position your work toward the back of the kiln for uniform heating

The composition of the silver clay is 999 silver powder (approx. 86%), copper powder (approx. 4%), water, and binder.

It has a 893°C melting point.

Project X X2O Rehydration Fluid is a revolutionary rehydration solution that outperforms traditional water-based methods. It opens dried binder surfaces, facilitating optimal water penetration, ensuring exceptional performance and convenience.

Instructions for use

• For semi-dry metal clay, add 1 drop of X2O, then add water as needed
• For completely dry clay, add 5 drops per 5 grams of clay, allowing it to penetrate, and then add additional water as required
