Patina Dry Form Liver Of Sulphur

Description

Dry, lump form Liver of Sulphur is dissolved in hot water to create a patina solution which will give an antique, oxidised finish on silver, brass, copper or fired silver precious metal clay.

Once mixed, the solution can be applied to the metal with a paintbrush or cotton bud, or an entire metal item can be dipped in the solution.

The dry Liver of Sulphur lumps should be mixed sparingly with hot, distilled water, as an overly concentrated solution can cause the patina to be scaly or flake off.

Once dry, Liver of Sulphur patinas can be sealed with Renaissance Wax. Store the remaining product in the air tight container supplied in a cool, dry place away from sunlight.

Liver of Sulphur is also biodegradable.
