Description

The Orotig Prometheus is an innovative, patent-pending inline casting system designed specifically for high-quality casting of precious metals such as gold, silver, and platinum.

Engineered for jewellery professionals, this compact tabletop machine integrates advanced features to deliver consistent and reliable results, even in small workshops. One of its standout qualities is its fully automatic operation-with just the press of a button, the machine handles tilting, flask locking, and metal pouring, making it accessible and easy to use even for first-time operators.

Its unique horizontal crucible design allows for direct and swift pouring into the flask, minimizing temperature loss and preventing metal turbulence, which results in smooth surfaces and reduced porosity.

The Prometheus system also features inductive power mixing, automatic vacuum and overpressure functions (up to 2 bar with argon gas), and a pyrometer-controlled temperature system capable of reaching up to 2000°C.

It includes a 7″ touchscreen interface with pre-set casting programs for gold, silver, and platinum, as well as the ability to store up to 50 custom user profiles.

Thanks to its integrated air/water cooling system, it can perform 1-2 casting cycles without requiring an external chiller, helping to conserve shop space and simplify setup.

The system does not require compressed air, further reducing infrastructure needs and maintenance.

Built with a sturdy, heat-resistant body, the Prometheus is designed for durability and low maintenance, minimizing metal loss and downtime.
