Description

Traditional jewellers charcoal block for soldering. Used as a surface on which to solder, the charcoal soldering block isa good heat reflector, ideal for soldering smaller pieces or making minor repairs to joins.

Charcoal soldering blocks hold heat and prevent it dissipating, meaning that work will take less time and energy to reach the required temperature.

Simple shapes can also be carved out of the charcoal block and small pieces of metal melted into them.
