Mounted Christmas Tree Felt On Wood, 150mm/5.9″

Description

A 150mm length ‘Christmas Tree’ soft felt, suitable for the final polish of work (particularly the inside of rings).

The mop is conical in shape with a ‘pom-pom’ affair at the top, and is made from fine wool, mounted on a wooden core. Bottom diameter 30mm, top diameter 13mm.

To be used in conjunction with a polishing motor by threading the central hole onto a spindle.

A different mop should be used for each metal and for each polishing compound to avoid cross-contamination.

For better results, clean mops with a mop rake prior to each use to avoid built-up compound hardening and leaving drag marks.

Mops can also be washed by soaking overnight in a solution of hot water, liquid detergent and ammonia.
