This torch tip for heating and melting is designed for use with the Smiths Little Torch Kit () using oxygen and propane gas or oxygen and natural gas.

The torch tip measures 6″ long and is ideal for larger heating tasks and small melting tasks.

The tip will reach a maximum temperature of approximately 2871°C (5200°F) and will melt up to 141 grams of metal (5oz).

In particular, this torch tip is recommended for melting gold, silver, bronze or platinum in a crucible.

This heating and melting torch tip is for use with propane or natural gas only. A separate melting tip is available for use with oxygen and acetylene ().
