Large Rathburn Ring Stretcher

Description

This Large Rathburn Ring Stretcher has been designed to easily and simply enlarge rings.

Made from stainless steel with a brass colour plating, this portable tool is used to increase the size of rings that measure approximately; J, M, P, R, T, W, Z and Z+3.

The smallest size that can fit on the stretcher is a ring size K/16mm.

This tool comprises of a nylon base which holds the tool securely, defusing the noise and prevents damage to your worktop. A slotted stainless steel mandrel that widens when hammered, sizing rings and a top pin used to stretch the mandrel.

Suitable for jewellers and hobbyist alike, this is a great affordable alternative to the larger industrial ring stretchers.

It is recommended to use a nylon (997 3102) or rawhide mallet (997 3118) when hammering to ensure a gentle, slow increase. A heavier hammering action may effect your solder join.

Please note – this ring stretcher is not suitable for sizing rings with stones and ensure to continually measuring your sizing with a ring stick.
