Hard Gold Plating Solution 1l, 3g Au/l Gp204

Description

The Gold plating bath GP 204 plating solution from Heimerle + Meule is used for galvanic deposition of thicker gold layers in the decorative and technical field being ideal for hard plating.

Developed by highly qualified specialists, this solution works perfectly at room temperature (20-30°C). It is very easy to handle, therefore achieving a fast and efficient processing result every time.

The solution contains 3g of gold per litre and will deposit a layer of approximately 8 micron in a deep-yellow, vibrant gold colour.

The purity of the deposited gold layer amounts approximately 23cts.

This time saving solution has a high colour stability and has optimal throwing power. In addition, the layers are deposited in a shine-maintaining manner, minimising clouding.

It is important to read the information sheet before use. Following the outlined procedures are essential for optimal results as additional products and processes are needed.

The solution contains undissolved salts, therefore you must shake the bottle well before use.

Instructions for use:

• Tank: PPH tanks only
• Anode: Platinised titanium ()
• Bath temperature: 20-30°C (room temperature)
• Voltage: 3-5 V
• Add 900ml of Deionised water — into a thoroughly cleaned tank
• The solution must be stirred until the chemicals have been dissolved and have fully merged with the water
• Exposition time for 1µm: 8 minutes

Please note:

The plating bath contains acid and must not come into contact with cyanides or cyanide-based solutions.

The chemical must be stored sealed and has a limited shelf life (approx. 2 years after date of manufacturer). Always check the expiry date displayed on the bottle.
