Hard Calico B Mop, Stiff, 102mm X 25mm / 4″ X 1″

Description

This Hard Calico B Mop is ideally used for first initial polishing of precious and non-precious metals.

Measuring 102mm diameter and 25mm wide, this mop is made up of multiple layers of stiff, loose calico fabric that holds well under pressure meaning it allows the polishing of even the trickiest of areas. Perfect for use after filing or buffing; it will help reduce scratch marks, pit hold and file marks.

It is recommended that a different mop must be used for each metal and compound so not to contaminate.

This product features a 4cm leather washer that secures the fabric in place with an arbor hole of 10mm diameter. For use in conjunction with a polishing lathe / machine. Other sizes are available;

Please note:

• Mops should be cleaned before each use with a mop rake. A build up of compound may harden and leave drag marks on the surface
• Mops can be cleaned by soaking overnight in a solution of hot water, liquid detergent and ammonia.
