This Fretz NTAH Double Cross Pein Hammer is part of the Fretz ‘Now That’s a Hammer’ range of tools that have been specifically designed with functionality in mind.

This unique hammer has been constructed from one piece of solid steel, making it incredibly durable and virtually indestructible.

It features; one 14mm, soft cross pein face which is ideal for creating subtle patterns and perfect for forging wire. One 14mm, sharp cross pein face that produces superb bark-like textures on wires and thin metal strips. Due to the small faces, this hammer is particularly useful on much smaller items, where a standard cross pein hammer may fail to fit.

Both faces have a high, mirror finish that ensure fantastic results and the slim-head design provides clearance when working inside items or with anticlastic stakes, making it perfect for intricate designs.

The metal handle gives added weight to the hammer yet still ensures optimum balance for maximum comfort when striking.

An added benefit to this hammer is the integrated, highly polished, flat stake that appears at the base of the handle. This 22mm stake can be used for texturing miniature items and flattening pieces when placed into a bench vice. Due to the weighted design, the hammer will assure a stable hold when struck.
