This Fretz Jewellers Large Embossing Hammer is part of the Fretz Jewellers range of hammers that have been specifically designed for medium force striking when making jewellery or smaller metal items.

This Fretz Jewellers Hammer features one highly polished 16mm diameter round face and one highly polished 12mm diameter round face making it ideal for producing custom bezels, doming and stretching metal to create small vessel forms.

It can also produce dramatic texturing on flat or curved metals and is also used to emboss or sink shapes into a cavity or when using a sand bag.

Delivering precision, whilst being built for toughness and durability, this Large Embossing Hammer is a scaled down version of the Fretz Silversmithing Large Embossing Hammer (). It provides a much lighter tool, perfect for use with lighter metal gauges.

The hammer head is made from 420 graded stainless steel and is secured onto a beautifully crafted handle made from oiled Padauk wood, which has been designed to flex during hammering for increased comfort and reduced strain.
