Eveflex Rubber Cylinder Burr, 506, Blue, Very Coarse Grit, 7 X 20mm

Description

This blue Eveflex pin is made from rubber material infused with a very coarse grit abrasive compound.

Used primarily for deburring, cleaning, and rough finishing on metal surfaces.

It helps to remove excess material, smooth rough edges, and shape surfaces before finer finishing is done.

The rubber composition allows for more controlled abrasion, reducing the risk of overcutting or damaging the jewellery piece while providing a more uniform finish compared to metal burrs.

It’s often used for refining surfaces, removing oxidation, and prepping pieces for polishing.

Used in conjunction with a pendant motor, micromotor or hobby drill.

For the ideal finish, start with coarse grit and gradually work through to extra fine, finishing with a final luster polish to achieve a mirror-like shine.

The cylinder is supplied unmounted and needs to be used with a tapered threaded mandrel such as , allowing this to be used in conjunction with a pendant motor, micromotor or hobbydrill.

The cylinder measures 20mm long and it has a 7mm diameter.
