Description

This heavy duty guillotine shear from Durston is capable of cutting sheet metal up to 300mm (12″) in width, to a thickness of up to 3.5mm for non-ferrous metals including silver and gold.

Guillotines remain one of the most useful pieces of equipment in the jewellery maker’s workshop for a fast and accurate way of cutting metal.

The precision ground, hardened steel blade is a high quality, professional standard guillotine shear and is designed to withstand heavy duty cutting tasks. It can also be used to cut wire to length.

The blade can also be turned round four times before requiring sharpening, giving it a very long lifespan for both occasional users and professional jewellers and silversmiths.

The guillotine is for workbench mounting and features four holes allowing it to be fixed to a work surface.

It is operated with the use of a handle, which has a length of 75cm for an easier cutting process.
