Description

Cutting Powder is used in conjunction with plastic or ceramic media when barrel polishing, to de-burr and give a matt finish to jewellery items before the final polishing stage.

It is ideal for use when finishing gold or silver jewellery work for a soft, matt finish.

The powder can be used with ceramic cutting cones () or ceramic chips ().

20g of Cutting Powder should be used with each kilogram of cones/chips, although a larger proportion of Cutting powder can be used for a coarser finish.

For a smoother finish, add a small amount of Barrelbrite Compound () to the mixture.

This product is categorised as Hazardous Goods therefore it may be a diluted solution of pure chemical, a mixture of substances, manufactured products or articles which can pose a low element of risk to people, animals or the environment if not properly handled in use or in transport.
