Description

This Busch Burr 3 Wheel has been produced from a single piece of hardened steel and is characterised by a stable design which provides a precise power cut and optimum concentricity, ideal for preparing settings.

Wheel burrs are similar to cylindrical burrs, but with a lower profile and teeth on the top surface of the working part.

Measuring 0.6mm in diameter, It has a full working head depth of 0.21mm.

The wheel shape is ideal for working on the inside of bezels or cutting a channel setting as it can be run in-between the channel, causing a fine groove for setting the diamond girdle.

It is designed to be used in conjunction with a pendant drill, hobby drill, micromotor or even a pin vice such asorto cut or grind away, shape or give pattern to a surface.

Suitable to be used on metal, wax and plastics.

Each burr’s construction consists of a number of teeth/blades (in a given shape) mounted onto a 2.34mm shank.

The shank fits into the collet/chuck of the drill, and when turned these teeth cut into and remove the surface being worked upon.

Quantity of material removed depends on pressure applied, use of ‘Burr Life lubricant’ () helps prolong the burrs cutting ability.
