The 80 Grit Oval Emery Flap Wheel from Bench Essentials by Cooksongold is a versatile abrasive accessory designed for grinding, smoothing, and refining a wide range of materials.

80 grit is a very coarse abrasive used for heavy material removal. It is ideal for removing casting skin, excess solder, or deep scratches, and for quickly shaping and flattening metal. Because it leaves deep scratch marks, it is typically only used in the early stages of work.

Emery flap wheels are widely used in metalworking, woodworking, and other fabrication applications to carry out tasks such as:

• Grinding: Flap wheels are ideal for reducing rough areas, smoothing weld seams, and removing sharp edges from metal and other materials. They efficiently take away excess material while still leaving a refined surface.
