Gold Wolf Wax is specifically designed for 3D wax milling machines as well as traditional methods of wax carving.

Today’s high speed 3-D wax milling machines demand a wax that withstandsextremely high RPM milling and that isexactly what Wolf Milling Wax by Ferris delivers.

Wolf Milling Wax also known as Wolf Carving Wax possesses both high ductility and toughness and has been rated 59 on the shore hardness scale, meaning it can be milled into the thinnest of cross sections with the most intricate details and minimal tool path residue.

This Wolf Gold Round Bar Solid is perfect for carving designs such as medallions, charms and cufflinks, in exceptionally fine detail.

It can be sawn, drilled, carved, milled and even turned, it can be easily polished to a high quality finish.

Due to its low ash content this wax is perfect for investment casting and lost wax patterns, it burns out completely when cast.

Use this rod in conjunction with a CNC machine or a lathe for precise cut detailing.

This wax can also be used with the Magic E7 CNC Engraving and cutting machine ().

Wax has a crystalline structure that dissipates as it melts, it will then re-align as it cools, this is what gives the wax its strength. It’s advisable to avoid working with it immediately after melting.

When joining wax together or adding extra wax, to ensure thorough bond, melt both pieces of wax using a wax worker such as (997 D119).

The gold colour of this wax will help your customer visualise how their piece will look once cast.
