Vallorbe Half Round File, 150mm/6″, Cut 0 – Coarse Grade

Designed, developed and manufactured in Switzerland, these high-quality Vallorbe files undergo rigorous checks to ensure they stand the test of time.

Made from high carbon steel and suitable for use on all metals, they deliver a superior performance time and again.

This Vallorbe file measures 152mm in length with a 4.6mm thickness. It features a half round profile with a flat abrasive side and a curved abrasive outer side, making it ideal for smoothing and finishing surfaces, and filing internal curved surfaces such as rings.

Although not necessary, a handle is recommended when using this file – 999 0549

This file has a coarse cut 0 finish.

The coarser the file, the more metal is removed. Files are graded as below;

• Cut 00 – Very Coarse
• Cut 0 – Coarse
• Cut 1 – Coarse/Medium
• Cut 2 – Medium
• Cut 3 – Medium/Fine
• Cut 4 – Fine
