Tungsten Soldering Probe

Description

This Tungsten Soldering Probe, also known as a pick, is a perfect device for aiding the flow of molten solder.

Made from heat-tolerant tungsten, this durable, hard pick helps guide the solder along the join with ease and even though it is a small tool, it can be held close to the heat without getting hot or buckling.

It features a 45mm (approx.) pointed tip for precision which is non-stick, ensuring solder won’t stick to the metal and is secured in a 90mm long insulated wooden handle. Total length 143mm approx.

Suitable for the soldering of precious metals, including Platinum. It is advised that you use different picks for each alloy, avoiding contamination.
