Stitched Calico Mop 5″

Description

Used with Tripoli/Lustre () or similar compound in conjunction with the polishing motor.

Made from numerous circular layers of calico fabric, stitched at the centre, and further concentric rows of stitching for extra support, held at the centre with a leather washer or similar material, in the centre of which is cut a hole. (Allows the mop to fit onto the spindle of the polishing motor).

Please note, a different mop should be used for each metal & compound.

Mops should be cleaned before each use with a mop rake (build up of compound may harden and leave drag effects on surface.

Mops can be cleaned by soaking overnight in a solution of hot water, liquid detergent & ammonia.

Approximate 9.40mm internal hole.

Mops are 127mm (5″) x 12.7mm (1/2″)
