This Sterling Silver barrel-shaped magnetic ball clasp converter fastens via a magnet in each hemisphere of the clasp. Perfect to use with a variety of necklace and bracelet designs and interchangeable jewellery, the clasp provides a secure hold, yet opens and closes easily. This makes it ideal for those who have difficulty using regular clasps.

It features a 5mm spring ring and a 8.5mm x 2.9mm tag plate, ready to attach to a chain.

The clasp measures 4.4mm x 4.6mm and the loops measures 3mm with a wire thickness of 0.5mm.

Please note that care should be taken when soldering magnetic clasps, as excessive heat can cause the magnetic properties to fail. Any heat applied to the clasp should be kept away from the centre of the clasp as this can cause damage to the magnets inside.

Care should be taken to ensure that the clasp can support the weight of your jewellery piece to prevent loss or damage.
