The Presidium Computer Gauge PGCG is a professional and compact digital computer gauge for measuring dimensions of the most popular gemstone cuts.

Presidium are a leading manufacturer of high quality Gemmological Instruments and distribute to institutes, laboratories, jewellery manufacturers, diamond appraisal and retail businesses worldwide.

This advanced computer gauge has the ability to estimate gemstone weights providing direct carat conversion for 9 different cuts and identities of 74 varying cuts. Measuring 0.0 – 25.0mm with an accuracy of 2 decimal places (accuracy; 0.01mm and tolerance; 0.02mm), it can also estimate your stones specific gravity (SG) using the internal stored database.

A clear and visible digital LED display screen can measure in millimetres or carat dimensions and is light and portable so can be used anywhere, plus records can easily be imported and printed for instant results when connected to your PC (USB port).

A great feature of this gauge is it can measure both loose and set stones and there’s no need to dismount from the setting because it is provided with an attachment for high settings. Automatic shut-down after idle for 10 minutes preserves the battery life, however, it will also automatically turn off when placed back into the protective carry case.

Supplied with a CD that lists S.G, R.I values and hardness measurements of 133 of the most popular gemstones.
