Description

This Oval Wooden Bangle Mandrel is precision-turned to provide an ideal surface for shaping and forming a variety of materials.

Made from hardwood, this smooth, oval mandrel is perfect for creating rounded surfaces on hoop earrings, bangles, bracelets, and pendants when used with a mallet or for wire wrapping.

It is suitable for forming soft metals like silver, gold, brass, copper, and aluminium, as well as for working with thermoplastics such as acrylic.

To use, secure the mandrel in a vice or brace it between the bench and your body before shaping your bangle with a hammer or mallet. Keep surfaces clean, as marks on the mandrel can transfer to the metal or plastic being shaped.

Please note: Due to the hardwood material, this mandrel may mark if struck forcefully with a steel hammer or nylon mallet. To prevent

damage, we recommend using a softer mallet, such as a rawhide mallet ().
