Onyx Semi Precious Faceted Round Beads 6mm, 16″/40cm Strand

Description

Onyx is a variety of Chalcedony from the Quartz family, easily identifiable by its jet black colour and highly polished surface.

These onyx have been treated with a dyeing process to uniform the black colour tones of the stone.

Onyx has generally been known as a stone of protection and is excellent for promoting strength and improving self confidence and wise decision making.

These faceted beads measure approximately 6mm in diameter with a threading hole size of 1mm and are supplied as a 16″ strand.

Please note that due to the nature of the material, each strand is unique so colours will vary and slight natural inclusions are sometimes faintly visible.

Care: As with all gemstones, care must be taken. It is not advised to place onyx stones in an ultrasonic, steam cleaner or chemical cleaning solution. Onyx can be easily cleaned with a warm soapy water mix or an untreated cloth.

It is advised to avoid exposing onyx to prolonged periods of heat and light.
