Description

Mattieco J offers the warmth of a gold allow without the cost of weight of a traditional restoration. This makes it suitable for use when overall cost of materials must be considered. The alloy out performs many higher gold content casting alloy for tarnish resistance and is polished to a gold colour normally associated with alloys costing considerably more. Mattieco J can be cast in thin sections so is also good for pins and posts. Tips: avoid carbon crucibles and sooty casting flames as contact with carbon may result in mis casts; when removing the casting from the investment powder, be prepared for a white looking metal. The gold colour is achieved after polishing.
