Description

The reduced gold content of Matticraft M is countered by the addition of palladium to produce an alloy which is tarnish resistant and hard enough to mill. The alloy is both silver and copper free which reduces the risk of furnace or porcelain contamination. Forming a positive oxide, the working cycle is reduced compared to many alloys. Tips: allow casting to bench cool; avoid melts that are 100% scrap; ensure oxy-propane torches are correctly adjusted and that induction furnaces are calibrated.
