We also recommend the alloy as a superstructure to implants, where its physical properties coupled with high biocompatibility make it ideal even for the most demanding of case designs. Complementing its choice is thrid party biocompatibility accreditation. Tips: always melt alloy in Ceramic crucibles; allow castings to bench cool; avoid melts that are 100% scrap; ensure oxy-propane torches are correctly adjusted and that induction furnaces are calibrated. When firing porcelain, support each unit of a bridge or place onto a fire mat, this will avoid distortion.
