Description

Platinum plating bath PT 10 from Heimerle + Meule deposits brilliant, white, rhodium-like layers with high corrosion resistance and hardness and is highly suitable for decorative purposes.

Developed by highly qualified specialists, this solution is very easy to handle, therefore achieving a fast and efficient processing result every time.

The solution contains 2g of platinum per 1 litre and will deposit a thin layer of 0.8 micron up to 1 micron in brilliant white colour.

High levels of hardness, abrasion and corrosion resistance and low contact resistance also enable it to be used in the electronics industry as final layer.

Platinum plating bath PT 10 is suitable for application in a jig plating process as well as a barrel plating process.

It is important to read the information sheet before use. Following the outlined procedures are essential for optimal results as additional products and processes are needed.

Instructions for use:

• Tank: PPH tanks only
• Anode: platinised titanium -or
• Bath temperature: 30 – 40 °C
• Voltage: 1.5 – 2.5 V
• Bath filtration: required

Please note:

This bath contains sulphuric acid and must not come into contact with cyanides or cyanide-based solutions acidic solutions.

The chemical must be stored sealed and has a limited shelf life (approx. 2 years after date of manufacturer). Always check the expiry date displayed on the bottle.
