GRS® Thermo-loc® Fixturing Compound Starter Set

Customize the jaws on your vice or engraving block to securely hold uniquely-shaped or fragile pieces with GRS Thermo-Locr.

Thermo-Locr is a special reusable polymer material that is rigid at room temperature yet becomes softly pliable when heated/warmed.

Thermo-Locr was developed to hold uniquely-shaped projects. In the soft, pliable condition Thermo-Locr can be shaped around the item. When it cools to room temperature, is rigid enough to hold the workpiece securely for a variety of operations.

The medium grey colour is designed to reduce eye strain under work lights.

Thermo-Locr can be reheated and reused which makes it an ideal economical option for a work material.

It is non-toxic and biodegradable

To use, simply warm the compound in hot water or use the non-stick pad to heat the compound in the microwave.

This starter set includes 1 lb. of Thermo-Locr (approx. 60 sticks) and a square, 6″ (152.4mm) non-stick PTFE pad.

Perfect to be used with one of the Thermo-Locr Clamps Fixtures (e.g. 998 G381).
