Gold Filled Round Ear Stud 6mm Bezel Set

This 14ct Gold Filled pierced ear fitting features a round bezel cup and a stud, or ‘French fitting’ post. It is perfect for making a stud earring with a cabochon.

Gold filled jewellery is also known as rolled gold or gold bonded and is created by mechanically bonding a layer of gold to a layer of base metal – usually brass. The outer gold layer must be at least 1/20 of the overall metal content by weight. Therefore it makes a great alternative to gold plating, which is thinner and less durable.

Features a 6mm round bezel cup. The post has a length of 9.5mm and a thickness of 0.74mm.
