These 14ct Gold Filled Rondell Beads are flattened round beads which work perfectly in beading projects as a spacer or even individually, to create timeless jewellery pieces. The versatility of the beads mean they will suit a variety of projects, from necklaces and bracelets to earrings and more. Just simply use the central hole to thread through a chain, ear wire, or cord to attach the bead to your designs.

Gold filled jewellery is also known as rolled gold or gold bonded and is created by mechanically bonding a layer of gold to a layer of base metal – usually brass. The outer gold layer must be at least 1/20 of the overall metal content by weight. Therefore it makes a great alternative to gold plating, which is thinner and less durable.

Unlike gold plated metal, gold filled can be soldered using 9ct or 14ct gold easy solder.

Each bead measures 5.5mm x 3.3mm with a 0.65mm threading hole.
